Day 2, Sun, Oct 13, Koda Koi Farm cont.
Lucky is along for the second pond (koi five years and up and koi that are up to 85cm)

Now we are dealing with an even larger pond. As Mr. Hoshino circles the pond, his son uses a large koi net to keep the koi from swimming outside the seine net.

The process repeats itself. Mr. Hoshino has worked the seine net almost all around the pond.

Building the net barrier again.

Back at the shop we have the first 17 of 35 koi from the five-year-old's pond. Because of the size of the koi in this pond we need to take two trips to get the harvest back to the greenhouse.

The last 18 for the day. Now it is time for a little Sake over dinner!
