Day 15, Saturday October 26
We're at the Nogyosai show.

Here's my ticket to the show.

The judges can be identified by their armbands. Voting for the grand champion comes first. The voting is ecclesiastical in nature: they each can vote for any koi, but it takes a certain percentage to win. If no koi wins on the first round of voting, they vote again, choosing only from the top vote-getters from the previous round.

The grand champion, a kohaku from Brocade

The reserve grand champion, from Hiroi Seiji. One of the best shiro utsuri I've ever seen.

The goshshi I bought at Hosakai about week ago won 1st place in the goshki class.
